FAQ

What is landed cost?

Landed cost is the total cost of getting one unit to your warehouse or customer: product cost, freight and shipping, import duty, and other import charges such as brokerage.

How is break-even price calculated?

MarginSum searches for the lowest selling price at which net profit per unit reaches zero, recomputing percentage-based platform and payment fees at each price.

Why do I need to enter my FBA fee?

Amazon FBA fulfillment fees depend on size tier, weight and season. Use Amazon's Revenue Calculator or your Seller Central fee preview and enter the per-unit figure.

Does sales tax reduce my profit?

US sales tax is collected on top of your price and remitted, so it does not change profit in this model. EU/UK VAT is usually included in the shelf price, so choose "VAT included in price" to remove it from revenue.
